What Is Christian Sex And What Is Its Purpose.

It is basically sex within the boundaries that God created and being mindful of those boundaries at all times.

Sex was designed by God not only for the sake of reproduction but also to provide high levels of pleasure. The reason people can end up wanting sex all the time and can even become addicted to it is because of the ecstatic pleasure that comes with sex.

God gave us sex as a gift for marriage and the coming together of a mature and responsible MALE and FEMALE in holy matrimony.

Christian sex and sex within God boundaries based on the original template God gave us should only take place between a man and a woman who are married.

Not between two men

Not between two women

Not between two men and one woman

Not between two women and one man

And not between unmarried people.

Anything outside of Gods boundaries is man's perversion and desecration of something sacred.

Christian sex is the consummation of love between a man and his wife (not girlfriend or sex buddy.) In Genesis 4:1 the bible says that Adam knew his wife Eve. That word 'knew' is old English for sex and sexual intercourse. Adam had sexual intercourse with his wife not his girlfriend. Eve was Adams wife and it is important to remember that.

It is Important to also recognize that God created sex. I can't understand why sex is still such a taboo in the church, God created it and therefore we should talk about it and have a clear understanding of why he created it so that we don't end up abusing something so special and sacred because we don't understand its purpose, as a lot of people are already doing.

Christian sex is reserved exclusively for marriage union. It is not something to be experimented with outside of marriage. It is not something to be treated casually. Many are treating sex like a job, they believe that the more experience you have the better, so they go around sleeping with multiple partners trying to gain experience so that they can be "good in bed". Such is the extent of the ignorance of many.

As a result many Christian singles have developed unhealthy sexual appetites because they have exposed themselves to ungodly sexual perversions. If such singles do not find deliverance before marriage, they will discover that it will be very difficult to have sexual satisfaction with their spouse when they do get married because they have built up unhealthy appetites and will want to satisfy those appetites, and when their spouse doesn't want to try these extreme sexual practices with them, it becomes a big problem.

They might find themselves as a result of their perversion wanting to have orgies or perform immoral sexual acts like anal penetration based on the things they have exposed themselves to (maybe as a result of watching porn.)

If you have also built up a habit of sleeping around it becomes very difficult to be satisfied by one person, if you have pushed the boundaries of what is moral sexually and exposed yourself to things like bondage and other forms of sexual perversion, then it becomes difficult to have normal sex because it will seem boring to you. Unknown to you that you are actually damaged sexually. Your appetite has become messed up.

Men that have a history and habit of masturbating as singles find that it becomes a bondage for them even when they are married. Many think that once they get married that the masturbation will stop, it is not until they marry and find themselves still masturbating that they realize that they really do have a problem.

God knows why he created sex only for married people, he is trying to protect us from such perversions, he is trying to protect us from ourselves yet we see it as a purnishment and can't understand why God is trying to purnish us and kill our fun. Christian sex (sex within Gods boundaries) is for our own protection and for our own good.

So to reiterate, the purpose of sex is to serve as a gift from God for a man and a woman who have come together in marriage to experience high levels of pleasure which results in the bonding of the two people involved into becoming one flesh. It is also for the sake of reproduction so that a man and a woman that have come together in marriage can experience the joy and blessing of child bearing.

Isn't is amazing that in marriage having a child is celebrated but outside of marriage it can be a thing of shame and regret - that in itself speaks volumes.

When sex is engaged in outside of marriage, evil and perversion follows and God is greatly displeased with those that violate the boundaries of Christian sex.

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, ... will inherit the kingdom of God - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
