It is wrong

I said it is wrong but it doesn't mean i'm not kissing my fiance. it is wrong because most people don't know the limit they should go when it comes to kissing- self control is a vital thing when two christian singles are dating; they need to set their priorities and know what they want. I kiss my fiance but we've never had sex, why? we said it from the beginning that no matter what, we will hold high God's standard concerning that "marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled" we kiss just to show affection rather than pleasure. The most important thing christian singles should consider is to know oneself first and then your partner, know his weakness and don't ever go there because the bible says we should flee every appearance of evil and we all know that the devil is always ready to take advantage of our weaknesses when we loose guard.I will say everyone should be fully persuaded in their hearts and do that which is right as long as your spirit man does not condemn you.Shalom!

I agree with the above comment. (or below, depending on the format of this thread lol) It sounds like you're saying that it's wrong for most people, but it's okay for people who have a lot of self control (you). But, we should put NO trust in our flesh. We are human, weak, and easily tempted. The Bible says not to set temptation in your path, so if you CAN be tempted to go further, then you shouldn't, no matter how strong your will is.

Now, if you're saying there should be set boundaries and you cut everything off past kissing, then this should be done in this manner. Just not sure what your answer is... 1. As long as you can control it or 2. As long as you both have clear boundaries.

So in essence what you are saying is that it is okay for couples in a christian courtship to kiss as long as they have set themselves limits in terms of how far they'll go and are able to exercise self control to ensure that you dont cross the boundaries that they have both set for themselves.

Interesting point of view and even though it makes sense, it almost sounds contradictory because on the one hand it is supposedly wrong but on the other it is okay as long as you can control yourself.

I'm interested to hear how other people feel about this.
