Wow, I have much to say on this topic, I definitely in the past struggled with sexuality while reading and preaching the word to others. It was not until God had to bring me face to face with what I was doing and how I was hurting my spiritual walk with him... It took me quite some time to woman up so to speak and keep it real with the Lord... I thank him so much for not giving up on me and for strengthening me in this area of my life, now do I still struggle with certain sins yes, I will until the day I die and become fully perfected. The difference to me is the level of spiritual maturity one, has attained and the level of faith. I had not experienced in my walk with the Lord true spiritual growth because of my unrepented sin, the problem is personal accountability from leaders and elders in the church and a denial and true lack of true regeneration on the believers part. Thanks to Yahweh and much hard work and dedication especially on his part, I have now finally got this thing about obedience, no I am not perfect but once you stop lying to yourself others and God, it gets a lot easier, I have now been practicing sexual purity for close to two years and I have grown in the knowledge wisdom and understanding of the Lord by leaps and bounds.... I give Yahweh the full credit but if you need humility you have to pray for it if you need abstinence you need to pray for it and if you need more faith just ask and he will give to us accordingly and as he sees fit... Many churches and people do church as a traditional thing not a spiritual inward communion and true relationship with our dear Lord.... I have plenty more to say but, Yahweh just wants us to be real with him and surrender our will to his divine will given to us through the holy bible and he does all the rest, We need to die to self daily denying our carnal flesh with it's desires to serve the one and only living God. I hope this helps if you would like to further discuss I am more than obliged... Take care all and Yahweh bless you and I pray for you to grow stronger and stronger in Him.... :))
