if we are trying to abstain from sex before marriage then kissing should definatly be a no go area, it may not be sin, however it will most definatly lead to sin, maybe not the first time nor the 2nd time nor the 3rd but we can be assured that someday it will go deeper and deeper remember we dont jump into sin we fall or some would say slide its a gradual process.

We have the same flesh as unbelievers we have the same romantic feelings and believe it or not we have the same sexual drives and emotional stuffs lol. so wether its a christian or not really doesnt change anything, the only difference between us and unbelivers is in our Spirit and nothing to do with our abilty to withstand anything, thats why you can get a devoted christian finding themselves in sin.

Kissing i personally believe is an unneccesary arousal of sexual organs, its like putting on the oven full heat 5 years before you want to cook the chicken, some day proberbly sooner rather than later it will burn the house down.

The bible doesnt say we should resist temptation but flee it, 'flee youthful lusts' we could assume this can be related to kissing. 2 timothy 2:22

Blessings

I love this first statement,

''if we are trying to abstain from sex before marriage''

that's where it all boils down to, if we are realy desperatly fighting sexual temptation or if you have determined in your mind that you do not want to have sex before marriage then to kiss passionatly even if its out of deep passion and love, it may not be the best thing to help ur abstainance stand.

pls remember we are FLESH God made us with sexual organs he gave us hormones and they are in full effect YES THEY DO WORK!!! even if your not married yet!!!

Another thing is that we need to be honest with ourselves and agree to the fact that we are all in a battle, why do i say that because our flesh wants it NOW! especially if your in a wonderful relationship, you really love the person and its just lovely, well, your flesh says GIVE IT TO ME NOW! whilst your spirit says hold on a little longer, the two are tlkin to you and u have the decision thats a battle, especially if your really in love with someone, and thats normal thats how God made us, however we should channel those feelings into thanking God for them, and thanking Him that he gave them to you,and even thanking Him for the partner that you feel that way about remember it was God's idea that man should not be alone.
